ROOM 1313

Some doors should remain closed. Some questions should never be asked.

October 13th. It had been raining for eleven days straight.

That morning, a crime shocked the whole country.

Two guests checked into Room 1313 at the Hotel Lumen. Then they vanished.

You're the detective assigned to Case 358.

From behind your desk, interrogate suspects, examine evidence, and decide who to believe. Every testimony reveals another contradiction. Every clue brings you closer to something that defies explanation.

And the deeper you investigate, the harder it becomes to trust your own senses.

The Investigation

  • Interrogate suspects. Question witnesses, confront contradictions, and decide who deserves your trust.
  • Examine evidence. Study reports, photographs, and strange artifacts connected to Room 1313.
  • Make difficult decisions. Every choice has consequences, and not every question has a safe answer.
  • Maintain your balance. Your reputation, supernatural sensitivity, and physiological condition determine how long you can continue investigating.
  • Face the inexplicable. Some evidence reveals more than it should. Some witnesses know things they couldn't possibly know.

Three Ways to Lose Yourself

Reputation — Lose the department's confidence and they'll take your badge. Become too notorious and powerful criminals will take your life.

Sensitivity — Perceive too little and unseen forces will torment you. Perceive too much and the world will call you insane.

Arousal — Exhaustion can destroy you. So can the inability to rest.

A Crime Beyond Reason

The Hotel Lumen is old, enormous, and cheap. Nobody asks questions.

The room exists. The key exists. The witnesses remember the guests.

But nobody signed the register.

Every answer leads back to Room 1313.

A short, choice-driven detective mystery combining neo-noir, psychological horror, supernatural mystery, and retro pixel art.
